With the new advances in technology it would seem silly for us to remain in the 20th century! Blogs can be one of the more beneficial methods for educators when it comes to improving as a professional. Now all educators, administrators, parents, and students can share ideas and strategies when it comes to education. With almost endless amounts of information, blogs can help improve all areas of education.
That was my thought exactly!!! I'm thinking about starting a blog to share with my students! 21st Century here we come!!
ReplyDeleteI said almost the same thing! I think it opens the line of communication between admin, parents, faculty, community, etc. The only problem I have encountered so far is that not all (actually MOST) of my students do not have internet at home. Going to need to find some solutions. GREAT IDEA AND POST!
ReplyDeleteHeather all of my students don't either. I have a few online curriculum sites I give assignments from and I allow my students who do not have access at, time to get on at school and complete the assignments. Doesn't always work out, but I try to make sure they have time.
